On Joyce Meyer
A while back I slammed Kathryn Kuhlman for some of her poor decisions. For a counter example, see Joyce Meyer, tpreacher, mother, and wife of Dave. I have no problem recommending her as a preacher worth hearing.
Hi,i also agree with what joyce means. In as much as Kathryn Kuhlman is doing God"s work, she would"ve still potrayed womanhood cos it would have gone a long way to still propagate the gospel notwithstanding her being a preacher
hi i also want to comment on Kathryn Kuhlman for some of her poor decisions too.I have no probs as well but she didnt fulfill that part of scripture that talked about womanhood. In as much as u work for God,he said he has given us all we need pertaining to life and godliness.
hi joyce,i had written b4 but i dont know ifit got 2 u.I have no issues 2 with Kathryn Kuhlman for some of her por decisions.Womanhood portays the totality of everything both getting married and otherwise. So if she didnt get married then it still doesnt change anything.I have no problem recommending her as a preacher worth hearing 2
Thanks, Hazim. I'm not a big fan of prosperity theology either, but I don't think it's entirely wrong. I've only listened to a handful of Meyer's sermons, so it's possible she teaches things with which I'd have a serious problem.

ReplyDeleteI couldn't disagree more, I'm surprised by your evaluation. Prosperity theology at its most brash, that's what I hear when she speaks.
